Philip Greeley Goes Hollywood made Dave the first non-Adam-or-Kent person in Guy in his Basement history to be the major creative force behind a work. An ambitious worker, he is also an active force in theater. While at Northwestern with Adam, he launched his play True Genius, the first student-run play funded fully by Northwestern's prestigious Theatre and Interpretation Center. True Genius later went on to well-reviewed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and off-Broadway. A graduate of Northwestern's selective Creative Writing for the Media program, Dave has since moved to Weeds, Raising Hope and The Brink. An arguably less interesting accomplishment was appearing in a small role in a demo trailer for Love: The Movie, a film he later provided a bevy of actors for; Robert Berliner previously appeared in Dave's Agent Dick Danger, which Adam did titles and graphics for.
